May Monthly Bead Box
Say hello to the monthly bead box. Where each month, a box of 10 beads and sequins will be released to the website at the start of each month. The idea is to provide a beading project to get stuck into each month.
May’s bead box is filled with soft blue, pale pinks and creams. There are 10 different bead packets inside from size 11 seed beads to beautiful glass flower beads and teeny iridescent flower sequins. It’s a beautiful combination of beads that are sure to look great no matter how they are beaded!
Please note that there are no instructions in the monthly bead box. These boxes are aimed at customers who have completed an imogen melissa kit before, or are confident beginners with beaded embroidery.
There will be an Instagram live on Thursday, the 8th of May, where Imogen will run a stitch along. She will bead a miniature hoop and chat through the box with you. You’re able to ask any questions here, too. Bring your box to bead and chat the evening away!
To have everything you’ll need to dive straight into this box, you just need to add a set of beading needles and an embroidery hoop. You can add either a short, split or long beading needle to the box, head to the drop down menu below to add. Should you need any embroidery hoops, they can also be found just underneath the listing.
The embroidery shown in the photos has been beaded into a 3-inch embroidery hoop.
Inside the May Box:
10 bead/sequin packets (9 seed bead & 1 sequin packet)
1 square of soft blue linen fabric (6×6 inches)
1 pale blue beading thread
2 meters of pink yarn
Each bead bag contains 4g of seed beads, while the sequins contain 1g.
